Why is Google Phasing Out Average Position and What Does It Mean For You?
I am thrilled to share the very exciting news that last night, Metric Theory took home two big awards at the Search Engine Land Awards:
Agency Of The Year – SEM: Metric Theory
Search Marketer Of The Year – Male: Andrew Cooper
Winning Agency of the Year is a culmination of the path we’ve been on for the last 7 years of business. We were a finalist among the ranks of some of the most well-known, top-tier agencies in our field. This win is a testament to all the hard work our team has put in over those 7 years, spanning every department in the company.
It’s no surprise to us that Andrew Cooper won Search Marketer of the Year. He has been a great leader in this organization through his work with our Ecommerce unit and most recently the agency’s progressive work with Amazon Ads. He loves what he does every day, and truly earned this award – congratulations.
We are extremely proud of these awards, and it is a great honor for us as a performance marketing agency. There are a lot of marketing awards for television campaigns, creative direction, and art direction, but there aren’t many awards out there for performance marketing – the hard work our people do to drive business results for our clients every day, so thank you to Search Engine Land for putting on these awards and recognizing these amazing agency and in-house teams for that work.
We want to thank our amazing clients, especially those that submitted for awards alongside us. Our clients push us to drive results and deliver more innovative work. Doing great work requires tremendous partnership with their teams, and we appreciate the opportunity to work with every one of them.
And just as importantly, we have to thank our people. This was truly a full team effort, from Sales sourcing and closing great clients, to the drive to innovate and deliver the best possible work from Account Services, to the new tools and infrastructure delivered by Operations and Analytics to keep things running smoothly, to HR and Recruiting helping build the best team in the business. I may be one of the founders of Metric Theory, but we were able to get to where we are today because of the work of our people – it is clear to see how much they care about their clients, and they are constantly driving great results because they are never satisfied.
Our high standards for success won’t stop here. We will take a moment to celebrate, and get right back to delivering the best possible results for our clients!
